DMX Lighting Control Features
Explore the connected tools DMXpressions™ provides for patching fixtures, programming looks, running playback, visualizing a stage and delivering DMX-512 output.

Fixture control built around real attributes
Patch fixtures with built-in profiles or imported GDTF data, assign DMX universes and addresses, then program intensity, colour, position, beam and control channels through attribute-aware tools. Limelight ID exposes the active personality, geometry and channel map when a fixture needs closer inspection.
GDTF profiles and patch validation
Fixture modes and footprints remain visible through patching, programming and visualization, helping operators catch address conflicts and incorrect personalities before output.
Pixel and multi-segment lighting
DMXpressions™ includes selection and mapping workflows for fixtures whose cells or segments need coordinated colour and intensity control.
Programming, cues and playback
Create groups and reusable palettes, build looks in the Programmer, record cues and scenes, then operate them from cue stacks, playbacks and live fader surfaces. Effects and parameter morphing can add movement without replacing deliberate cue structure.
Timeline and synchronized control
Chronos timelines, SMPTE timecode, MIDI and OSC support repeatable sequences and external control. Audio and tempo tools can support music-driven workflows when a production needs them.
Output, monitoring and production operations
Route DMX through compatible USB-DMX interfaces or network nodes using Art-Net and sACN through the local bridge. RDM tools, output monitoring and readiness checks help operators understand the path from programmed value to the rig.
Show documentation and crew coordination
Prompt Book, Crew-Synx and Lamp Ledger Pro connect cue-linked notes, task ownership, handoffs and fixture maintenance with the wider show state.
